Viet Nam’s e-commerce sector has enjoyed impressive growth in recent years, with the market scale projected to increase to US$49 billion, even $57 billion by Google, by 2025, from only $4 billion in 2015.
The General Department of Taxation will enable up to 1,000 enterprises
in five provinces – Ha Noi, HCM City, Bac Ninh, Dong Nai and Nghe An -
to pay their tax online by the end of this year.
Enterprises would be allowed to pay their tax debts by installments
from the beginning of next month, under a new proviso intended to assist
firms in weathering the economic storm.
